A Series of Stories
Any periods of life become a story, and a convergence of a nearly infinite set of factors end up shaping our experiences.
This portfolio is what I'll call a collection of stories. A collage; a jumble of the bits and pieces that comprised my wonderful two years in the Mississippi Teacher Corps.
There is a wide range here, from doodles in notebooks to student projects; pictures of Mississippi sunsets to teaching observation notes; class photos to Google Docs assignments.
I have no single story to label or define my time in Teacher Corps. As a result, I have no real title here. This is simply a collection held together by time.
When sorting through these memories, maybe you'll find some stories that parallel your own.
But if you find one thing, I will admit: I hope you find joy.

As Marilynne Robinson says:
“People talk about how wonderful the world seems to children, and that's true enough. But children think they will grow into it and understand it, and I know very well that I will not, and would not if I had a dozen lives.”
